Chevron Motel - Taupo

I was really disappointed with the beds. The mattresses were so lumpy that my parents woke up in pain, and the pull-out couch was even worse-totally sagging and uncomfortable. Just not acceptable for the price we paid!

My room was both beautifully maintained and extremely pleasant with basic cooking utensils and 2 single beds, for example. Very amiable and amazing friendly staff and everything was perfect. Also, location was excellent, not very far from Taupo Museum.

The location was great and incredible, close to restaurants and shops, it's a plus. All the staff was honest, settled my issues.

I got great value for my money with a spacious room that was comfy and clean. The location was perfect, just a short walk into town, and the staff were friendly and cute.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with a better variety of fresh fruits.

The room was much bigger than expected with a spacious kitchenette for all my cooking needs. It was located just a short walk away from the beautiful lake, surrounded by plenty of food options and shops. The warm and inviting decor.

The manager was unhelpful 😒, and the room didn’t match photos.

The location is prime, right near the main strip of restaurants and shops. The two-bedroom apartment had ample space, a decent-sized living area, and was equipped with Sky TV and basic cooking utensils , made for a cozy setup.

Unsightly cleanliness issues popped up, including black mold, a concern. Finally, power outlets were scarce. This place felt more of a budget option than a well-rounded stay.

The one-bedroom apartment was super tidy with a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking a breeze. The heating kept us cozy. We loved spending time in the garden area. Just a heads up, the air conditioning was a bit noisy at night, but it didn't ruin our experience! 🌼

Ideal for couples seeking comfort

I was met with a warm like no other upon arrival, the guy at reception. The room had a full kitchen which was perfect for cooking a meal after a long day, and the shower was just like a refreshing oasis after being out in the cold wind.

It was a bit pricey but within the acceptable range.

The room is clean and spacious, with a separate bedroom and a handy kitchen. It's located close to shops and restaurants.

The parking situation can be a little tricky at peak times.

Excellent fit for a date night in Taupo, value for money. The large twin room had cozy heating that kept us warm. Recommend learning how to operate the aircon heater before your stay.
